CompNow Training Sessions are a unique offering for anyone interested in learning about their new Mac or iPhone. Our training program comprises both regularly-scheduled and on-demand group sessions. We don't charge for the sessions, and attendees are welcome to bring a guest along. Sessions are conducted in-store on our large displays with our professionally-trained staff. Following the sessions, customers will be supplied detailed, easy-to-read documents outlining all the points covered in the session.

Unless you are needing to troubleshoot issues with your Mac at the session, bringing your computer along is not a requirement.

A great starting point for anyone starting out with a brand new Mac. This session provides a basic introduction to the Mac OS X Snow Leopard operating system, and provides some fundamental advice for getting the most out of your new Mac. And don't worry, just because it's basic doesn't mean it's boring; we'll show you all the cool stuff your Mac can do too!

Get a head-start on creating amazing projects on your new Mac. This session provides an overview of the most exciting features of iLife '11. Learn how to easily share your photos with family and friends, and create beautiful photo books and letterpress cards with iPhoto; create stunning movie trailers for your personal movie projects, harness all-new audio editing and one-step visual effects, easily focus on the people in your movies, and enjoy the amazing new themes in iMovie; get an overview of the easy-to-use but highly advanced music creation tools in GarageBand; and see how you can use your Mac to create websites with iWeb and DVD projects with iDVD.
