How to use the 1:1 portal.

Step 1 – Who are you buying for?

  1. Navigate to the school’s dedicated store URL – i.e. www.compnow.com.au/gotham
  2. Add your child’s full name
  3. Choose their group/year level from the drop-down menu
  4. (Optional – add their Student Number)
  5. (Optional – choose their Campus)
  6. Press the green ADD button
  7. For more than one child, repeat this process, or continue to Step 2.

Step 2 – Select Bundle

  1. Choose your child’s name from the drop-down list.
  2. Choose one of the bundles from the options shown.
  3. Add to your cart and close the pop-up window.
  4. For more than one child, repeat this process, or continue to Step 3.

Step 3 – Select Optional Accessories

  1. Choose your child’s name from the drop-down list.
  2. Choose any optional accessories you wish to purchase from the options shown.
  3. Add to your cart and close the pop-up window.
  4. For more than one child, repeat this process, or continue to Step 4.

Who can we speak to about organising a 1:1 program for our school?

We would be very happy to setup a purchasing portal for your school. Please contact us to speak to one of our dedicated education account managers today. We can have you up and running very quickly.

 


Where do I get a token / code?  My token / code isn’t working?

Each education organisation provides parents / staff / students with a url link, or a token / code that enables entry into their customised store. Please contact your school to obtain this from them for the specific 1:1 program you or the student you are buying for is enrolled in. From time to time we change the tokens / codes for security reasons or at the request of the school running the program.

 


Can I buy a product not on the 1:1 store?

Each education institution works with us to select the best devices for each program taking into consideration many things that impact the ability to deliver a successful program – deployment, WiFi, management etc.  So normally we are not able to provide anything different.  If you want to select a different product, please contact the co-ordinator of the 1:1 program at the school.

 


Can we pick up our purchase?

Each education institution works with us to select the best way of distributing the devices. Some schools want to hand them out at information sessions and so often they are shipped in bulk to the school. Whereas some schools are happy for us to ship them directly to you at time of purchase.

 If you want to arrange collection you will need to check with the school or the individual account manager who is listed at the top of the main page when you are logged into the 1:1 purchasing portal.  If in doubt, please contact us making sure you let us know which school.
