Everyone has the right to a quality education — an education that’s creative, collaborative and relevant. Apple believes technology can enable all students with every type of learning style. Every iPad, iPhone and Mac is built from the ground up to support all types of learners.
The existing features of iPad can help students with accessibility needs unlock content and learning activities like never before. All teachers interested in equity and inclusion should be aware of the iPadOS accessibility suite of tools. That’s why we include these features in the eLearning Program at the School of Education of the University of Adelaide, where we raise pre-service teachers’ digital and pedagogical capabilities hand in hand.

The fantastic Accessibility features on iPads allow all students to engage in powerful learning. Features such as ‘Spoken Content’ and ‘Voice to Text’ have enabled my students with dyslexia to feel empowered with their learning and engage with the class tasks. The Compnow Apple Professional Learning Team tailor learning to enhance the classroom experience for those with special education needs. This training helps students get the most out of the accessibility features of Mac and iPadOS, making learning accessible for everyone.
