A New Approach to Computing
Traditional CPUs were designed with desktops in mind — unlimited power, cooling, and large form factors. When scaled down into laptops, compromises often followed: reduced performance, limited battery life, and higher thermal output.
The Snapdragon X Series flips this model. Built on Qualcomm’s mobile-first legacy, these processors bring:
Consistent performance, even unplugged – unlike traditional silicon that can lose 30–45% performance when running on battery.
Multi-day battery life – with devices such as HP laptops delivering up to 34 hours on a single charge.
On-device AI acceleration – enabling faster, more private, and more efficient AI workloads without relying solely on the cloud.
Compatibility and Proof of Concept
A common question is application compatibility. Qualcomm, in collaboration with Microsoft and ISV partners, has made significant progress ensuring a seamless experience. At Compnow, we’ve tested these devices extensively and seen how quickly compatibility issues are resolved.
We encourage customers to run a proof of concept with us. By putting a Snapdragon-powered device in your team’s hands, you can validate app performance and see the benefits first-hand.
Device Lineup to Suit Every Persona
In partnership with HP, the current Snapdragon-powered lineup includes:
HP ProBook 4 – a reliable entry-level option, well-suited to education and administrative use.
HP EliteBook 6 – a premium device for information workers needing performance and portability.
HP EliteBook Ultra – sleek, executive-grade, and built for professionals who demand power on the move.
The Future of Productivity
Snapdragon X Series is redefining what users can expect from their PCs: uncompromised performance, industry-leading battery life, and advanced AI capabilities.
